What is Paint Protection Film (PPF)?

  • Thick, high performance, impact resistant, transparent layer of urethane film applied on top of the body panels to protect factory paint from:

    • Scratches 

    • ​​Rocks chips

    • Scuffs

    • Swirls

  • An invisible "screen protector' for your car

  • Provides extreme gloss and prevents fading

FAQ's

What kind of film do you use?

  • The 3M® films we use are hydrophobic and self healing. This makes washing and maintenance a breeze. 

  • Edges will be wrapped where possible for a virtually invisible install.

What is the different between Vinyl Wrap and PPF?

  • Vinyl wraps add custom styles. They come is endless colors and designs, but are much thinner (1mil), last about 3-5 years, and take a lot longer to install.

  • PPF is thick (6-10mil) durable film that is used solely to protect the vehicles paint. Simply put, it is a "screen protector" for your car.

How long does PPF last?

  • Anywhere from 7-10+ years when maintained properly.

Are there different types of PPF?

  • Yes, clear (glossy), matte (satin), and carbon fiber are common finishes, some are ceramic infused.

  • Reputable brands include: XPEL®, 3M®, and SunTek®

Does PPF damage paint?

  • The bond of factory paint is immensely stronger than PPF’s adhesives, the chance of peeling paint or clear coat is extremely low, it can be easily removed done professionally.

Does it turn yellow after a few years?

  • Yellowing was a thing of the past. New technology and better adhesives provide superior protection and resistance to UV breakdown.
